How it works

Five minutes a day beats one hour a month

Tungo is a vocabulary trainer: nearly 2,000 everyday words, six games and four levels that take you from A1 to B1. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you sign up to your first streak.

Choose your languages

Tell us the language you already speak and the one you want to learn. You can pick from English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German and Italian.

Set up your account

Add your name, email and a password, then confirm your email with a quick code. Your first 7 days are free, no card needed.

Discover new words

Each round is one topic - Greetings, Numbers, In the kitchen - of 8 to 14 new words. Tap a card to see what it means, and hear it said.

Play to learn them

Quick games like Word Zoom. Every right answer earns XP, and a run of them earns more.

Level up your journey

Fill both bars to unlock the next round on your map, collect badges and build a streak. Then come back tomorrow: little and often is what makes it stick.

Choose your plan

When your trial ends, pick Standard or Full Access, whichever fits how often you plan to practise, or the Tutor Plan if you teach students.

Your practice toolkit

6 games, one goal: words that stick

Every plan includes all 6 games, each one built to bring the same words and sounds back around until they stick. Here are three of them.

Stats

Streaks and reminders

Keep your day streak going, with a gentle nudge on days you have not practised yet.

Why little and often

Consistency beats cramming

A few focused minutes a day, repeated often, is how most people actually remember new words, not one long session a month. That is the whole idea behind Tungo: short games that fit into a coffee break, on a plan cheap enough that skipping a subscription never feels like the smart move.
